To add a course, after logging in navigate to the admin dashboard by hovering your mouse on the admin menu which appears only when are logged in and than clicking on the dashboard link.

You will be redirected to the admin dashboard. In the admin dashboard, hover your mouse over the LMS menu link on the right hand side of the screen and click on courses.

A screen listing available courses (if any) will appear. At the top of the screen there’s a “Add A New Course” button click on it and another screen will appear allowing you to enter course information.

At the top of the screen, you will be able to add the title of the course and below that, on the big white space, you’ll be able to add the description of the course

Below the description are a couple of settings that you have to fill for the course. These include things like the price of the course the duration and other settings. They are arranged into tabs as follows
The first tab is the general tab which contains a number of general settings for the course as follows
General Tab #
Duration: This sets the duration of the course from minutes, hours, days and weeks. You must set this accordingly.
Block Content: This setting is to block access to the course when either the duration has expired or when the student has finished the course.You must choose one of the options. By default the option to block access to the course when the student has finished is selected.
Allow Repurchase: This is to either grant permission for the student to redo the course after it has expired or not. If you choose to grant users this permission, you will be able to set the repurchase action i.e. whether to Reset course progress or Keep course progress or give the user a chance to choose whether he or she wants his or her course progress to be reset or not.
Level: The level setting allows you to choose the difficulty level of the course from beginner, intermediate and difficult. This will be shown in the course preview so that prospective can know what to expect.
Fake Students Enrolled: Here you can inserted a fake number which represents the number of students enrolled for the course.
Max Students: This is the maximum number of students that can enroll for the course. Leave the number as zero to set the maximum to unlimited.
Re-take Course: This is the number of times a student can retake the course. Zero disables this feature
Finish button: This shows the finish button when the student has finished the course but has not passed.
Featured List: Adds the course to the list of featured courses.
Featured Review: This will be shown in the featured list as a means of promoting the course
External link: This is used if the course content is somewhere else e.g. another page or website
Enable reviews: Allows people to review the course
Duration info: Overwrites the duration info shown in course preview
Languages: Language of instruction
Media Intro: The path to a video that explains the course it could be a youtube video path

Offline Course Tab #
Enable offline course: When you enable the offline course feature, the system will disable certain online course functions, such as curriculum, finish button, re-take course, block content, repurchase. After checking the checkbox, make sure to click the “Update” button to apply the changes successfully
With this feature enable you will be able to set other features such as the number of lessons, the dilvery type such as the one on one, inperson class or live class.
Pricing Tab #
Regular Price: The normal price for the course
Sale price: The sale price if the course is on sale (you can also schedule when a sale should start)
Price prefix: for additional info to be shown before the price such as From or Up to
Price Suffix: Additional information placed after the price. such as per hour or per week etc
There is no enrollment requirement: Students can take the course without enrolling
Extra Information Tab #
This tab allows one to set any additional information for the course, information that gives more clarity to prospective students and is displayed in the course preview. This information includes Requirement for one to take the course, Target audience, Key Features and FAQs.
Assessment Tab #
This allows you to set how assessment is done i.e.
evaluate via lessons: which is evaluation by the number of completed lessons out of the total number of lessons e.g. if there are ten lessons and a students completes 8 of them then he or she has 80%
Evaluate via results of final quizz: i.e. as exam right at the end of the course
Evaluate via passed quizzes: e.g. if a course has ten quizzes and a student passes five, then he or she has fifty percent
Evaluate via questions: i.e. evaluate by the number of correct answers from the the total number of questions e.g. five correct answers out of ten questions is 50%
Evaluate via marks: i.e. the total marks achieved from the total marks of the course
Author Tab #
Allows one to set the author of the course
Downloadable Material Tab #
This setting allows one to include any downloadable material that forms part of the course e.g. study guides, books etc.
Curriculum Section #
The curriculum section allows one to define the curriculum of the course. Type the title of the curriculum and press enter to further set the curriculum adding lesson and quizzes to it among other things.

Excerpt Section #
The excerpt is a shortened version of the description
Display Settings Section #
Here you can set how the course will look by setting things like layout, header and other small settings
Course Categories Section #
Here you can set the categories that the course is a part of

Course Tags Section #
Tags are keywords that help make the course easily searchable both within the website and by search engines
Set Featured Image Section #
The featured image is the image that one sees when they preview the course. For best results it is recommended to use the 16:9 ratio or 1280 x 720 pixels
Publish/Update Button #
When you are done adding information about your course if it is a new course or when you are done editing information about your if its an existing course, you can publish the course if its a new course or update the course if its an existing course and you do that by clicking the publish button. the same button will be written update if the course was already published. This button is on the top right corner of the course edit screen
